Last year I walked by this place a few times. Seemed like... More so like a seafood Starbucks than a standard restaurant. I guess the fact it’s also beside Compass Coffee it helps give that feeling.(Note: I do not like coffee. It’s just not for me.)
I honestly had no idea what it consisted of, just seemed interesting. I seen a few photos online that gave me an idea on what to expect. The reviews were all great just a lot of people complaining about the price, so I was already prepared to spend over $20 or so. The price wasn’t really people’s issue, because it is seafood, but more so the portion they received because of it. When you see the photos online though, you still don’t get an idea of what they’re complaining about.

I ordered the Trio, which consisted of 1/2 lobster, shrimp & crab. Now me seeing half I’m thinking like half s sandwich or so, so I’m like cool that’s most definitely going to be enough for me...
This is what I got served. Even from that photo you’re probably like that’s not so bad. Now check out this photo with the sandwich in my hand.
It’s bout half the size of an iPhone 6/7. I’m like what I’m going to do with this lol. Bout to crush these. I wasn’t disappointed or shocked though since I already read up on how the portions were small, I just wasn’t sure how small. Mind you, I seen another man’s order & his sandwich looked pretty big & it seemed like a half at the time, so I was like oh if I’m getting 3 of those it’s a done deal. Nope. My portions were more like a quarter lol. I think he had the combo as well though so that makes a difference.
Despite their size the sandwiches were great though. The bread was toasted just right which made them nice & soft. Whatever sauce they use really helps you enjoy the food & each selection was cooked just right. Out of all of them, the crab was my favorite.
My total came to $20.90, In situations like this I don’t really see them as a lost or disappointment because I seen what the prices were already. If you’re really really really hungry I suggest not to go into restaurants that seem expensive, because you will be disappointed, angry or just still going somewhere else after spending that money to get some more food. The best thing to do is go for the experience or because you’re bored & got money to blow.
All in all my experience there was cool, the service was cool & it wasn’t that crowded. I plan on going back again to see what I have to order to get a bigger portion & what’s it going to cost me lol.
